Delete your korot account and data

In the app

On iPhone or Android:

1. Open the korot app and tap the account button (the person icon) at the top of the home screen to open Account.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Tap “Yes, delete my account” to confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm first.

On the website

From any browser:

1. Open korot.app and sign in with your email, or with the Google or Apple account you used.
2. Select Account at the top of the page, or in the menu on a phone.
3. Select Delete account at the bottom of the page, then “Yes, delete my account”.

Without the app or website: request by email

If you cannot use the app or the website, write to support@korot.app from the email address on your account, with “Delete account” (حذف الحساب) as the subject. We check the request by matching the sender’s address with the account’s email, and we may ask you to confirm by replying from that address. We then delete your account and data as described below and answer you within one month at the latest.

If you used korot as a guest without signing in with an email, your account is not tied to an address we can check, so delete it in the app, or on the website by opening korot.app/account in the same browser you used.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete:

• Your account, your email address and your sign-in details, and we end your sessions on all your devices.
• Your share links, which stop working at once.
• Your exported cards and their video and image files.
• Your designs and drafts, with the names and wishes you wrote in them.
• The suggestions from the “Describe your card” tool saved with your account.
• The records of your card exports and orders linked to your account.
• korot’s access at Apple, if you signed in with Apple and delete in the app or on the website. If you ask by email, remove korot yourself in your Apple ID settings (Sign in with Apple).

When deletion completes

Deletion starts as soon as you confirm: your sessions end and your share links stop working right away, and the rest is deleted automatically within a short time, once any card still being made has finished. Deleted records are emptied of personal content and then removed permanently within 30 days. Deleting your account cannot be undone.

What we keep, and for how long

We keep only the following, without your cards, designs or anything you wrote in them:

• Payment and subscription records, for as long as the law requires, such as tax and accounting law.
• A record that the deletion took place, holding only the account ID and the dates the deletion started and finished, to show that we carried out your request.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels a website subscription automatically, so you are not charged again. We cannot cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions, so cancel those in the store before you delete your account, or they keep renewing. Paddle (the Merchant of Record for website purchases), Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases under their policies; RevenueCat keeps the subscription history it handles for app purchases, and Meta keeps the ad-measurement events already sent to it, each under its own policy, and korot cannot delete those. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or cancel any subscription.

Deleting some of your data and keeping your account

The app and the website do not yet let you delete a single card, design or share link, but you can:

• Write to support@korot.app from your account’s email and say what you want deleted, such as a share link, a card, a design or your “Describe your card” suggestions. We delete it and answer you within one month at the latest.
• Rely on automatic deletion: the files of free cards are deleted after 72 hours (occasion cards the day after the event, at most 30 days) and those of cards made on Lite or Plus after 30 days.
• Remove korot’s access in your Google or Apple account settings at any time.
